Turquoise is an opaque gemstone that occurs in beautiful shades of blue, bluish green, green, and yellowish green.  
  
Turquoise often contains inclusions of its host rock (known as matrix) that appear as black, grey or brown spider-webbing or patches within the stone.

The lockets water resistant screw type closure means the gemstones are secure and there is no risk of accidental opening. Simply twist both sides in opposite direction to open the locket and add your own special items.
