Shipping
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship within New Zealand, including P.O. Boxes and rural addresses.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is $7. Rural delivery is $12. Orders over $65 qualify for free shipping. Shipping costs are automatically applied at the checkout.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 business days. Personalised engraved items may take an extra day.
Parcels are shipped using NZ Posts next working day Courier service. Delivery outside major towns and cities, and rural or remote areas may take longer.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes, you'll receive a tracking number by email once your order has been packed and is ready to be dispatched.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We offer a 90-day return window from the date of purchase. If you'd like to return an item, please get in touch with us via our Contact page.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or arrives damaged, in which case we will cover the cost and make it right for you.
Can I return a personalised or custom engraved item?
Unfortunately, personalised and custom engraved items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty, as they are made specifically for you.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with a photo of the damage, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

What is a Shepherd's Whistle Pendant?
Our Shepherd's Whistle Pendants are wearable, functional mouth whistles crafted from stainless steel. They celebrate the heritage of rural New Zealand and make a meaningful gift for farmers, hunters, dog trainers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Are the whistles actually functional?
Yes! They are designed to be worn as a pendant but work as a real whistle, which can be heard across a paddock, through wind and rain, without a raised voice.
What are they made from?
Our Shepherd's Whistle Pendants are made from stainless steel, making them hypoallergenic and durable.
How do I get a sound out of the whistle?
Unlike other whistles, the shepherd’s whistle is placed inside the mouth and the pitch is controlled by the position of the tongue, allowing you to produce a range of distinct notes. For more information, check out our how to blog page.
Can I get a message engraved?
We can engrave names, dates, a short meaningful message or the coordinates of a special location on the back of your whistle. Simply add the text in the personalisation field when placing an order online.
How to I clean my whistle?
Your engraved shepherds whistle can be cleaned using mild soap and water or isopropyl alcohol with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, jewellery cleaners, metal polishes, and ultrasonic cleaners, as these will damage the black engraving.
Please note that the black engraving may naturally fade over time with daily wear and exposure to cleaning, skin oils, friction, moisture, and chemicals.

What is a memorial keepsake pendant ?
Our memorial pieces are designed to hold a small amount of cremation ashes, a lock of hair, sand, or soil from a meaningful place. They offer a beautiful and lasting way to keep a loved one or cherished pet close to your heart.
How much of the material can the pendant hold?
Our memorial pendants hold a very small amount. Just a pinch of ashes, soil or strand of hair is all that is needed to hold your memory close.
How do I fill the pendant?
Most of our memorial pendants come with a small funnel to make the filling process as easy as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Is the closure secure?
The pendant has a screw and a rubber gasket, which together creates a tight water-resistant seal. However, as it uses a screw mechanism, there is a chance it may come undone, especially with daily wear. To ensure your cherished contents are permanently secured, we highly recommend using a non-water soluble adhesive to seal the pendant after filling it. This extra step will provide added peace of mind for preserving your precious keepsake.
Can I get a message engraved?
We offer custom text engraving for you to add your most memorable moments with heartfelt words, meaningful dates or the coordinates of a special place, transforming your necklace into a beautiful tribute to love and memory.

We can engrave names, dates or a short messages on most of our stainless steel jewellery and pet tags. Each product listing will indicate what engraving options are available.
How do I place a custom engraving order?
Simply add your engraving details in the personalisation field on the product page. The text you enter will appear in the product image, allowing you to preview your design before adding to cart. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us first and we can help.
How long does a custom order take?
Custom engraved orders are made to order and are typically dispatched within 2-3 business days.
Can I see a proof before my item is made?
The text you enter will appear in the product image, allowing you to preview your design before ordering. For most standard engravings we proceed directly with your instructions. If you have a complex or unusual request, please contact us beforehand and we can discuss your options.
Can I return or exchange a custom engraved item?
Unfortunately personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a fault. Please double-check your engraving details carefully before placing your order.

How do I care for my stainless steel jewellery?

How do I care for my copper jewellery?

How do I care for my acrylic earrings?
Our engraved acrylic earrings are lightweight and easy to care for. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid dropping them as acrylic can crack under impact.
Can I wear my jewellery in the shower or swimming?
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, or engaging in activities where it may be exposed to moisture or chemicals.
How should I store my jewellery?
Store your pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keeping them in a soft pouch will help prevent scratches.
